 Разница между результатами экономической деятельности (например продуктом в стоимостном выражении) и затратами, произведенными для их получения и использования. Когда результатом экономической деятельности являются не только экономические, но и более широкие социально-экономические последствия, правильнее говорить о социально-экономическом эффекте. Если результаты экономической деятельности превышают затраты, имеем положительный Э.э. (оцениваемый, например, прибылью); в противоположном случае — отрицательный (на­п­ример, ущерб, убыток). Эффект как разница между стоимостью продукта и затратами на его производство возникает, при прочих равных условиях, в двух случаях: во-первых, когда возрастает продукт (рост объема производства); во-вторых, когда сокращаются затраты (экономия ре­сурсов). В экономических расчетах наиболее распространены три показателя Э.э.: годовой — разность между годовым продуктом и годовыми затратами; интегральный — сумма годовых эффектов или разность между суммарным продуктом и суммарными затратами за расчетный период (см. Дисконтирование, Расчетный срок); среднегодовой — средняя из годовых эффектов за расчетный период. 2. Разница между исходной и достигнутой «абсолютной« экономической эффективностью рассматриваемой экономической системы при ее изменении или изменении ус­ловий ее функционирования (см. Эффективность экономических решений (мероприятий), Эффек­тивность экономического развития). Э.э. от изменения системы может рассматриваться как разность между годовыми эффектами (в смысле 1.) до и после изменения или как разность между интегральными эффектами (1.) за ряд лет, например, за пятилетие, предшествовавшее и последовавшее за их изменением.
